Following unprecedented growth over the last two years, Setfords are delighted to appear in The Sunday Times 100, Britain’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.
The league table takes on the baton from The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 series, which celebrated the country’s leading entrepreneurs for 24 years. The 2022 league table is supported by Barclays Private Bank and DHL Express. Setfords is the only law firm to appear in the league table this year.
Founded in 2006, Setfords was the UK’s first full-service law firm to launch a consultancy model. Since then, the firm has gone from strength to strength, experiencing the most prolific period of growth in the last two years.
In 2021, Setfords had a turnover of £17.9 million, which has turned into £34.7 million for the last financial year.
Setfords’ Business Development team generated approximately £10 million in fees for Setfords’ consultants in 2021 – double the 2020 total.
Setfords entered The Lawyer Top 100 for the first time in 2021, following a 96% increase in revenue. This followed entering The Lawyer Top 200 for the first time just one year previously, in 2020.
Setfords continues to attract the best legal minds in the industry. In the last financial year alone, there has been a 41% increase in consultant lawyers, with 109 joining in FY20 and 108 in FY21.
