At Setfords, we aim to make the transition easier with a large dedicated team of secretaries, based at our Head Office in Guildford, who work hard to provide our lawyers with the kind of support they need to thrive in their role as consultants.

Our secretarial team has a wide range of experience. They can assist you with plenty of tasks, such as dictations, typing, opening and closing files, running AML checks, drafting documents and contracts, taking certified copies, and more. State-of-the-art technology

The team is supported by our technology and systems, many of which we have built from scratch and so are bespoke to Setfords. We also work from Bighand, our digital dictation platform. The team will prepare documentation where required, ready for approval for it to be sent out or emailed onto the external party by the consultant where appropriate.

Training

Our secretarial team also takes care of training for our lawyers. Once you’ve signed with us, you’ll have a one-to-one comprehensive training session, guiding you through how to use all of our systems. We also have training videos available at any time, and you can have as many refresher training sessions as you wish, to ensure that you’re making full use of the systems to make your life as easy as possible!
