Setfords Solicitors’ exemplary commitment to promoting gender diversity both within the workplace and to the wider community has been recognised with the award for ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at this year’s Women in Law Awards.
This particular award was aimed at UK law firms outside the top 100 who could successfully demonstrate a unique and imaginative programme that sets out to achieve a strong diversity record.
The firms’ diversity is a result of its pioneering consultancy-based model which offers a rewarding, flexible and fulfilling work-life balance.
“It is a real honour to win the 2020 Women in Law – Law Firm of the Year award. When we founded Setfords, our aim was to create a better way of working for lawyers where they are treated equally regardless of age, gender or background. The diversity of our 300 plus lawyer network is a proven outcome of our ‘New Model’ firm and we are delighted to have been recognised for this achievement. We are incredibly grateful to all the people who have contributed to Setfords’ success, including all of our amazing lawyers and our head office team and we look forward to welcoming many more lawyers to our platform in the months and years ahead.” – Co CEO, Guy Setford
